What do I need to bring?
Although you don’t need a DOG to participate it is preferable. Or you can Borrow A DOG. You will need to bring your own set of hand weights, a mat, and a towel. We supply a mat for your dog to lie on for “go to your place”.
What do I wear?
Whatever you feel most comfortable working out in.
What if it rains?
Unfortunately we will not have class if it rains. The dogs don’t usually perform well and conditions can get slippery with the wet ground.
How big are the classes and can anyone join at anytime?
Anyone can join, at any time, as long as space is available.
I'm out of shape. Are we divided into groups depending on our abilities?
The class is designed for all fitness levels. We encourage everyone to come and go at their own pace.
Are results guaranteed?
Although our certified trainers are here to push you to your limits, nobody knows your body better than you. We’ll always encourage you to keep up, but in the end only YOU know how to take care of YOU. With commitment and perseverance results can happen.
What does my dog need for bootcamp?
Your dog needs to bring a collar (training collar or flat collar) & leash. We supply the water and dog mat.
How old does my dog have to be ?
Your dog needs to at least be 4 months or older and be current on all shots.
What if my dog isn't trained?
We don’t expect your dog to be trained, that’s why we ask all of our bootcampers to attend a 1 hour Thank Dog! consult to prepare you and your dog for the bootcamp class. The dog training staff will also be available for troubleshooting ½ hour before every class.
My dog doesn't like other dogs. Can we still come?
Yes. We can help you during our 1 hour consultation and we’ll take it from there.
What if I don't have a dog?
You can still come to class if you don’t have a dog, but if you can borrow a dog your friend, family or whomever you borrowed the dog from will thank you. Plus our Borrow a Dog program, comes with a discounted enrollment price.
I have two dogs. Can they both attend?
Of course! You can either bring a friend or family member to handle the 2nd dog or rotate dogs each class. Our policy is one dog per human. This guarantees a safe workout for all of our clients.
Can my dog be off-leash?
We do not allow dogs off-leash for the safety of the other owners and their dogs. And it’s a park rule and the fine isn’t cheap.
What happens if my dog doesn't know how to do all of the commands taught?
Doesn’t matter, come to class as that’s what we’re there for. Heel is most important, if you have that (which, you will at the consultation), you’re in!! We don’t discriminate, we love all levels of obedience. It will help your pup out
My dog is doing great in obedience class, but we're still having some problems at home. What do I do?
